Dynamic learning environments where students and companies collaborate using Generative AI-driven tools to design sustainable products
Our project follows a structured four-phase approach to integrate AI and sustainability into modern design education:
Explore
Design
Validate
Re-Design
1
//explore
Gathering Skills & Best Practices
Gathering Gen-Al and Sustainability Skills, Courses, and Best Practices. We aim to accumulate a wealth of knowledge and resources related to GenAl and sustainability.
2
//design
Crafting Educational Content & Living Labs
Crafting educational content and defining the characteristics of the Living Labs. With the insights gained during the exploration phase, we move on to the design phase. Here, our focus is on creating educational materials and establishing living labs. These living labs will serve as dynamic learning environments where students and professionals can actively engage with GenAl for designing sustainable products.
3
//validate
Testing with Students and Companies
Testing with Students and Companies is crucial to ensure the effectiveness of our approach. We put our designed educational content and living labs to the test by engaging with students and collaborating with companies. Their real-world experiences and insights enable us to fine-tune our offerings and ensure they are practical, relevant, and impactful.
4
//re-design
Enhancing Through Feedback
Incorporating feedback and enhancing materials. In the re-design phase, we take feedback from students and companies into account. We work to refine and enhance our educational materials and living labs, ensuring they meet the ever- evolving needs related to gen-Al and sustainability.
Project
Pillars
Our work is built on three core pillars that define our approach to innovation and education:
1
generative AI
Leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies to design innovative and sustainable solutions
2
design
Applying creative and practical design methods to solve real-world sustainability challenges
3
sustainability
Creating environmentally, socially, and economically sustainable products and solutions
